Set Up Notifications For Deposits, Including Stimulus Check Arrival
You may have heard that Congress reached an agreement for a new COVID-19 Relief bill, that includes direct stimulus payments to taxpayers. Since these payments would be expected to arrive at a nonspecific date over the next few weeks, you might find yourself checking your account frequently. We want to make sure you know how to set up notifications in online banking so you can be alerted to new deposits. For your convenience, you can set up notifications in online banking to inform you of deposits, so you’ll be notified immediately when your stimulus check posts to your account.
For initial set up of Automatic Deposit and other notifications, you can use online banking or our mobile banking app.* When setting up, you can choose to turn on phone and/or email notifications. Here’s how:
Online banking:
- Log in to your account on growfinancial.org.
- Select the Settings widget. (If it isn’t already visible, select the More icon in the left-hand column.)
- Click on the Notifications tab.
- View the list of notification options. You can use the individual settings icons in the right-hand column to turn each type of notification on, if desired. When applicable, you can activate email and phone alerts individually. Now you’re all set to receive a notification when your stimulus check hits.
Mobile banking app:
- Log in to your account on the mobile app.
- Click More menu in the navigation.
- Select the Settings widget. (If it isn’t already visible, select Others from the menu.)
- View the list of notification options. You can turn notifications on by clicking each alert type you want to set up. When applicable, you can activate email and phone alerts individually.

How to Find Your Routing & Account Numbers
When you make a payment online, by phone or on a mobile device, you may be asked for our routing number and your checking account number. Credit unions and banks use these numbers to identify accounts and make sure money gets where it’s supposed to be. You’ll also need to provide your routing and checking account numbers for:
- Direct deposits
- Electronic checks
- Military allotments
- Wire transfers
Where to Find Your Routing & Checking Account Numbers
Your personal checks include both our routing number and your account number, as shown on the Grow check example below.
Don’t have a Grow check? No worries.
Visit any Grow store and ask for a Direct Deposit Form. It lists both your routing number and checking account number.

Pay by Mail
You can also pay any Grow loan by check through the mail. Please remember to include your account number and Grow loan number on the check. (For credit card payments, please do not write your 16-digit credit card number on the check, which can cause a delay in processing the payment.)
