Grow Financial Named a Top Workplace for 15 Consecutive Years

For the fifteenth year in a row, we’re proud to share that Grow Financial has been named a Top Workplace by the Tampa Bay Times. This year, we were ranked in the top ten among large employers — an honor made even more meaningful because it comes directly from the voices of our own team members.

Each year, the Top Workplaces list is created based entirely on anonymous team member feedback gathered through a survey conducted by workplace research company Energage. The confidential survey measures key elements of organizational health, including leadership, engagement, connection, flexibility and overall workplace culture. With more than 70,000 organizations participating nationwide, the recognition reflects how employees truly feel about the place they work.

For us, that feedback matters deeply. Our culture has always been rooted in a simple but powerful mission: We serve people, not profit.™ And that commitment extends not only to the members and communities we serve, but also to our team. Many of our team members have built long, meaningful careers at Grow — something we’re incredibly proud of.

Creating a sense of belonging

For Cynthia Whiting-Burton, who has been with Grow for nearly three decades, finding a workplace where she felt valued and connected was important from the start, and that’s something she still feels today.

"The ongoing commitment to work–life balance and the encouragement to prioritize mental well-being are major reasons why I’ve chosen to build my career with Grow. That sense of belonging and genuine care, from leadership and colleagues alike, has truly kept me here for the long term."

Cultivating professional growth

Nicole Muneton joined Grow shortly after graduating from college, stepping into a role that aligned closely with her skills and interests. Seven years later, she says it’s the environment of support and opportunity that has kept her here.

"The trust, flexibility and opportunities to grow have been constant throughout my career. Grow’s support pushed me to pursue additional credentials and helped me continue growing both professionally and personally."

Building a shared purpose

Efrain Perez, approaching 20 years with Grow, says the organization’s purpose and collaborative culture have shaped his professional journey.

"Our shared purpose creates a strong sense of unity. Along the way, colleagues consistently encourage, guide and challenge each other, which has helped me develop new skills and grow professionally. That spirit of teamwork and mutual support has made a lasting impact on my career journey."

Evolving while maintaining our culture

Over the years, our membership at Grow has increased, and we have embraced digital transformation and expanded flexible work models, all while preserving and enhancing our award-winning culture — no accidental feat. Throughout that evolution, team member feedback has remained a driving force. Insights from the Energage survey and other internal feedback channels help shape decisions about leadership, workplace policies and the overall team member experience.

After 15 years as a top workplace, team members remain at the heart of our story, which shows that when people feel valued, supported and empowered to be their authentic selves at work, success follows.
