Think Big, Dream Bigger: Grow Hosts Summer Interns Through Think Big for Kids
We believe in investing in our communities and helping young people build the skills they need to thrive. This summer, we welcomed a group of high school students to join us for a six-week internship through Think Big for Kids, an organization dedicated to preparing underserved youth for career success.
Career Exploration in Action
Throughout the summer, interns connected with team members in departments across the credit union, including Human Resources, People Development Group, Marketing, Business Transformation, Business Services and Finance. From participating in hands-on projects to receiving one-on-one mentorship, interns gained firsthand insight into the many career paths available within the financial services industry.
Intern Sofia, a rising senior, shared, “When we go to financial institutions, we don’t always know what goes on behind the scenes. As someone who loves to find out the reason behind things, I applied for this internship to learn more about Grow Financial and how a credit union operates.”
We hosted a series of educational sessions covering topics such as professionalism, teamwork, user experience, public speaking, branding, credit union financials and more. Interns also had a chance to sharpen their networking skills during a lunch with representatives from across the organization. Intern Oneil, a rising senior, said, “Through this internship, I gained professionalism, business skills and marketing skills. One piece of financial advice I’d give others, after spending the summer with Grow Financial, is to keep up with your credit cards to avoid going into debt.”
Building Confidence and Connections
The internship culminated in a project symposium, where students showcased what they had learned and presented their final projects to team members, friends and family, and leaders across Grow. It was a celebration of their hard work and growth over the summer — and a reminder of just how bright the future can be when we give young people the tools and support they need to succeed.
Why It Matters
Financial literacy and career readiness are two powerful ways we can give back to the community and empower the next generation. By partnering with Think Big for Kids, we’re proud to help students explore their potential and take meaningful steps toward their futures.
Thank you to each of our interns for spending their summer with us! We can’t wait to see what you do next. Learn more about Think Big for Kids.

How to Find Your Routing & Account Numbers
When you make a payment online, by phone or on a mobile device, you may be asked for our routing number and your checking account number. Credit unions and banks use these numbers to identify accounts and make sure money gets where it’s supposed to be. You’ll also need to provide your routing and checking account numbers for:
- Direct deposits
- Electronic checks
- Military allotments
- Wire transfers
Where to Find Your Routing & Checking Account Numbers
Your personal checks include both our routing number and your account number, as shown on the Grow check example below.
Where to Find Your Checking Account Number in Grow Online and Mobile Banking
If you don’t have a physical check on hand, you can also locate your Checking Account Number for Electronic Transactions in Grow Online and Mobile Banking.*
Here’s how to find it:
- In the Grow Mobile Banking app, select your checking account, then tap Show Details in the top right corner.
- In Grow Online Banking, select your checking account, then click Account Details.
