Your Checking Account Options at Grow
What’s so great about our checking accounts? Well, we’re biased, but we think there’s a lot to love. We offer two different options: Checkless Checking and CashBack Checking. So whether you want something super simple, or something a little more rewarding, we’ve got you covered.
Both accounts come with:
- A Grow Visa® debit card
- Access to more than 70,000 surcharge-free ATMs across our network1
- Grow Online and Mobile Banking2
- Free direct deposit
Checkless Checking
Sometimes, you just want the basics. That’s why we created Checkless Checking.3 Exactly as the name implies, it’s checking without the paper checks. Less mess, less stress. Features include:
- No minimum balance or minimum deposit
Move money freely without worrying about your balance dipping too low. - No nonsufficient fund fees
There’s no risk of overdrawing your account. - No monthly account service fees
The perfect checking account option for anyone looking for simple, no cost-checking.
CashBack Checking
If you’re interested in a checking account that rewards you, CashBack Checking might be right up your alley. It’s our most popular checking account for a reason — because you can earn cash rewards. That’s right. You’ll earn five cents cashback for each qualifying debit card transaction.4 Think about how often you use your card for gas, groceries and everyday expenses. The small things really do add up!
This account includes:
- All the features of Checkless Checking
No account minimums, overdraft fees or maintenance fees. - Access to paper checks and online Bill Pay
Because sometimes you do need real-life checks on hand. - No minimum or maximum purchase amount required to earn cashback
Talk about a debit card that pays you back!

2Additional data charges may apply. Please see your wireless carrier for more information.
3You cannot use paper checks on this account. Any check written will be returned unpaid, even if you have sufficient money in your account.

Qualified debit card transactions include signature or PIN-based point-of-sale purchases, bill payments made with your Grow Visa debit card, and online purchases. How to Find Your Routing & Account Numbers
When you make a payment online, by phone or on a mobile device, you may be asked for our routing number and your checking account number. Credit unions and banks use these numbers to identify accounts and make sure money gets where it’s supposed to be. You’ll also need to provide your routing and checking account numbers for:
- Direct deposits
- Electronic checks
- Military allotments
- Wire transfers
Where to Find Your Routing & Checking Account Numbers
Your personal checks include both our routing number and your account number, as shown on the Grow check example below.
Where to Find Your Checking Account Number in Grow Online and Mobile Banking
If you don’t have a physical check on hand, you can also locate your Checking Account Number for Electronic Transactions in Grow Online and Mobile Banking.*
Here’s how to find it:
- In the Grow Mobile Banking app, select your checking account, then tap Show Details in the top right corner.
- In Grow Online Banking, select your checking account, then click Account Details.
Don’t have a Grow check or Online Banking? No worries.
Visit any Grow store or call us and ask for a Direct Deposit Form. It lists both your routing number and checking account number.
Making a Loan Payment

This is the simplest way to pay your loan. You can make one-time payments or set up automatic recurring payments in Grow Online Banking. Once you log in, select “Transfer/Payments” from the menu. If you’re not enrolled in Grow Online Banking yet, you can set up your account in just a few minutes.

Pay by Mail
