Thank you for your interest in a Grow Financial Foundation grant! We’re committed to investing in organizations that make a real difference in their communities. To ensure a good fit, this application requires detailed information about your organization, finances, and intended use of funds.

* Are you a Grow Financial member?

Organizations in operation for less than two years will not be considered for funding.

Note: Applications selecting “Other charitable purpose” will undergo additional review by the benefits selection committee to ensure alignment with the Foundation’s charitable objectives.

These are not required, but may be requested during the review process:

  • Most recent IRS Form 990 or financial summary
  • A brief project budget or cost breakdown
  • Letters of support from community partners

The following documents may be requested during the review process:

  •  Most recent IRS Form 990 or financial summary
  • Current fiscal year operating budget
  • Financial statements (reviewed by a CPA if annual revenue exceeds $500,000; audited if annual revenue exceeds $1,000,000, per Florida Statute 496)
  • Line-item budget for the proposed use of grant funds
  • List of board of directors (may be included in Section above)
  •  Letters of support from community partners or beneficiaries
  • Past impact reports or program evaluations
  • Strategic plan or theory of change document
  • Most recent independent audit report (if not required above)

The following documents may be requested during the review process:

  • Most recent IRS Form 990
  • IRS determination letter confirming 501(c)(3) status
  • Audited financial statements for the two most recent fiscal years (required per Florida Statute 496 for organizations with annual contributions exceeding $1,000,000; reviewed financial statements required if contributions exceed $500,000)
  • Current fiscal year operating budget
  • Detailed line-item budget for the proposed use of grant funds
  • List of Board of Directors with affiliations and independence status
  • Organizational chart
  • Proof of Directors & Officers (D&O) insurance (if applicable)
  • Current strategic plan or theory of change document
  • Letters of support from community partners, beneficiaries, or other funders
  • Past impact reports, program evaluations, or independent assessments
  • Most recent independent audit management letter (if applicable)
  • Evidence of pilot results or needs assessment (for new programs)

  2. If funded, my organization will use the grant solely for the purposes described in this application.
  3. My organization will provide written progress reports every six months and a comprehensive final outcomes report at the conclusion of the funded project.
  4. I will promptly notify the Grow Foundation of any material changes to the organization, its leadership, or this project.
  5. My organization consents to a site visit and/or interview by the Grow Foundation’s benefits selection committee as part of the evaluation process.
  6. My organization will maintain adequate records and make them available for review by the Grow Foundation upon reasonable request.
