Grow Financial Awarded #1 Best Credit Union in Florida by Forbes

We are thrilled that we’ve been named the number one best credit union in Florida by Forbes on the 2022 Best-In-State Credit Unions list. To determine the winners, Forbes partnered with market research firm Statista to survey more than 26,000 people from all 50 states about their banking relationships.

#1 Best Credit Union in Florida

Between one and five credit unions in each state were awarded the Best-In-State designation, and organizations received an average of 50 completed surveys, which solicited feedback from consumers on a variety of topics. For each credit union where respondents had a checking account, they rated an overall satisfaction score and answered whether they would recommend that credit union to friends and family. They were also asked a series of questions focused on six separate aspects of the relationship: trust, terms and conditions (including reasonable and transparent fees), branch services, digital services, customer service and financial advice.

Kim Woollard, Executive Vice President, CHRO, has been working with Grow for more than twenty years. She shared her thoughts about the award: “This came as an awesome surprise. It’s a truly humbling but welcome honor to see our team’s efforts appreciated on this scale. To earn the number one spot in Florida on a list that’s created solely based on member feedback is incredible. I know I speak for the entire team at Grow when I say we’re very thankful to our members for their positive feedback that enabled us to win this award.”

Only 3.4% of credit unions across the country made the cut for the best-in-state list, and we’re honored to top the list. It’s thanks to you, our members, that we’ve been able to earn this recognition. We’re thankful for all your feedback and look forward to continuing to serve you!

The Credit Union Difference

Today there are more than 5,000 credit unions nationwide. The idea of a credit union is simple but has a big impact: the members are the owners. This primary difference between credit unions and banks, which have customers instead of members, allows us to offer more competitive rates and lower fees on savings and loans, while prioritizing community involvement and member service rather than stockholder profit. At Grow, we serve people, not profit.® To learn more, visit The Credit Union Difference.
