Join us in our effort to end childhood cancer! Grow Financial hosted a kick-off event at headquarters today to prepare for the St. Jude Walk/Run. This fundraising event is sponsored by Grow and organized in part by Justin Yent, Grow’s Loan Resolution Manager and a member of the St. Jude Walk/Run committee, to support the mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital: Finding cures. Saving children.

“The passion from the team members of Grow to help find an end to childhood cancer started four years ago,” Yent said. “We picked St. Jude to support and have decided to continue to support this great cause annually through the walk/run and their pin up campaigns.”

At the kick-off event, Grow team members had the opportunity to sign up to walk, run or fundraise to participate, and everyone who registered enjoyed ice cream and was entered into a raffle to win Grow and St. Jude swag. Participants will compete in the St. Jude Walk/Run to End Childhood Cancer on September 15 in both Tampa, Florida and Charleston, South Carolina, with a goal to be the top fundraising team once again.

“We provide everyone the opportunity to volunteer and become a part of this special day,” Yent said. “Our team members are passionate for St. Jude, and we have been the top fundraising team for Tampa the past three years.”
