Grow Financial Federal Credit Union (“Grow”) values your privacy and security and are dedicated to protecting your information while you our using our website.  This Online Privacy Statement applies to Grow  webpages, branded social media sites, mobile applications, digital banking applications, and digital advertising campaigns, collectively referred to as a “digital property.”

The terms “Grow,” “we,” “our,” or “us” refers to Grow Federal Credit Union. Information collected by Grow during the application for or servicing of one of our products or services are also governed by Grow’s Privacy Policy.

Our website and digital properties do not intentionally target children under the age of 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. In addition to the privacy practices described within this statement, Grow Privacy Notice and, social media sites may have their own privacy policies that you should understand prior to using their services to interact with Grow on those sites.

Information Collection That You Provide to Grow

You may provide personal information directly to Grow on our website and digital property for different reasons. This information includes, but is not limited to, your name, address, email address, and phone number.  You may also provide personal information to Grow online when you complete an online form on a Grow website, pay a bill online, send an e-mail or subscribe to electronic communications from Grow.

When you sign up for or maintain a financial account with Grow, you may provide the types of personal information described in Grow’s Privacy Notice, including but not limited to your Social Security Number and employment information.

Information Automatically Collected by Grow

In addition to the information you provide, when you use our digital property, we may also automatically collect information from your devices and applications that you use.

If you use the Grow websites, we collect and store information on the domain used to access our website, the Internet address of the website from which a user links to the Credit Union’s website and the date and time of the visit to our website. This is to measure the number of visitors to our website and the route a user travels within our website to better serve members in improving design and site navigation.  We do not use this information to identify individuals.

If you choose to use a Grow mobile app, we may collect certain information from the app and your mobile device, including but not limited to geographic location information, unique device identifier information, and website data (as defined above).

We also collect information pertaining to your transactions with us, and others; information obtained when verifying your registration when using our digital property, including but not limited to, username, and password.

We also may collect, transmit, and use geolocation information to enable features that prevent fraudulent card use and send alerts, but only if the end user expressly authorizes collection of such information. Geolocation information can be monitored on a continuous basis in the background only while the services are being used or not at all, depending on your settings selection. You may change your geolocation permissions at any time in your device settings.

Information Disclosure

Grow may disclose all of the information collected, as described above, to companies that perform marketing services on behalf of Grow or to other financial institutions with which Grow has joint marketing or other contractual agreements. Grow may also disclose nonpublic personal information about its members under other circumstances as permitted or required by law and as described in our Privacy Notice.

Information Security

Grow restricts access to non-public personal information about its members to Grow employees and approved third parties working on our behalf who have a specific business purpose in utilizing member data. Grow employees are trained in the importance of confidentiality and member privacy by maintaining physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations and leading industry practices to safeguard members’ non-public personal information.

Web Tracking and Cookies

Use of our website, including any patterns or characteristics concerning your interaction with it, may be monitored, tracked and recorded. Anyone using the site expressly consents to such monitoring, tracking and recording. By using our website, you understand and agree that: (a) Grow tracks the Internet usage of all persons accessing the site using “cookies” and other tracking methods and (b) Grow uses a web tracking and analytics service to analyze such information.

Cookies are pieces of information stored directly on the device you are using. Grow takes your privacy seriously and ensures that no personally identifying information is stored in the cookies. Cookies we use do not contain or capture unencrypted personal information. Cookies allow us to collect information such as age, gender, geographic location, device and operating system, broad interests, IP addresses (anonymized), user IDs, browser type, and information about your browsing practices and use of the site. We use this information to better understand our audience, their behaviors, and their preferences, and may apply those learnings to our marketing efforts via advanced targeting or more personalized experiences. Google Analytics

Grow uses Google Analytics, a service that uses cookies to track anonymous information regarding your activities on this site. This includes information about your visit such as views, clicks, searches, and data on your interactions with and usage of the site. This data is used to better understand how visitors access the site and provide a better overall user experience. Google Analytics may share the information it collects with other Google services to improve website performance.

Meta

We share the data we collect through cookies with Meta.  Meta shares data across its various platforms (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, etc.) to provide a seamless user experience and personalized recommendations, but it does not directly share your data with third-party advertisers or other companies.

Pixel Tag

A pixel tag, also known as a web bug in an embedded image, is an invisible tag placed on a webpage to register when a particular computer visits that specific page. These tags and beacons are used in combination with cookies. Grow places these on its web properties and in online advertisements to better personalize your experience with Grow and to understand aggregate website usage and patterns.

Accepting Cookies

The Grow  web properties may direct you to other sites on the Internet that are not owned or operated by Grow to provide additional information or services that may be of interest to you. Chat Features

Grow web properties may provide communication channels via online chat that allows Grow  to interact with members and consumers via audio, phone, or chat. Transcripts of chat sessions are recorded for training, quality control, analytics, and other lawful purposes and may be viewed by Grow and our third-party vendor that provides the online chat solution during or after the chat interaction. While consumers are engaged in chat sessions, Grow  and our third-party vendor that provides the online chat solution may also be able to view the consumers’ screens and see what actions the consumers are taking on Grow’s  platforms (e.g. on Grow’s  website, in Grow’s  Online Banking, and in Grow’s  Mobile Banking). If you choose to interact with us via online chat, you must provide your affirmative consent of this data collection practice at the onset of each chat session. If you decline to grant permission, you will be unable to begin an online chat session.
